Vegetable Patch is proud to have their 5th Anniversary in 2009, and are still committed even more so to providing our customers in Pontefract and the surrounding areas with the freshest, mainly locally grown and harvested produce at the best value around. Our food is not only fresher and tastes better, but by buying home-grown produce you support the local economy and also reduce the energy needed to transport your food.  

We are still far better value than the Large Supermarkets, on Price and Quality.  We also keep our Prices constant all year round, enabling you to have the upmost value when it matters, All The Time !

Over the 5 Years Emma has accumulated a very large customer base, including the local community, Restaurants, Cafe's and numerous Local and National Events.  With doing all this she has now been accredited to be a member of The Guild Of Fine Food of Britain, and also to be listed as one of Britains Best Deli's.

We believe our Locally Produced and Home Made foods have to be  some of the Finest Foods and Produce available.  As we aim to look after our local Farms, small independent producers and Home Made producers, we are putting back into the community to help us all prosper together.

Vegetable Patch is a small family-run Food Specialist located just on the outskirts of  Pontefract, in the village of Carleton.  We are of real local roots, and support from the community encouraged us to join with local farmers, business people and residents to open a Quality Fine Food and Fresh Produce Establishment.

Vegetable Patch has become a local centre for a wide variety of produce, ranging from fruit and vegetables to dairy products and home-made jams and chutneys.  We stock so many Yorkshire and even Pontefract foods, from Yorkshire Meats, Yorkshire Pork, Pontefract Honey, Wakefield Liquorice, Pontefract & Wakefield Free Range Eggs, Home Made Pontefract Breads, Pies, Fruit Pies, Cup cakes, Plus so much more Local Produce.  Find out more about our produce!

Vegetable Patch is always on the lookout for small, local farmers who share our vision of providing fresh, high-quality produce. Our partners have all passed rigorous quality controls and are regularly subjected to spot inspections, and only the best of their harvest is accepted.
