Manor House Farm is located in the Vale of York.

The Family have been farming at York for more than a Century and today, it is the fourth generation of the family.

Pigs have always been kept on the holding and for the last decade thye have made a Speciality of breeding and rearing Free Range pigs outdoors.

Outdoor pigs are kept in welfare friendly conditions.  They have plenty of space and freedom to roan about, root and wallow.  They are provided with good shelter and generous straw for bedding.

They choose breeds that provide the best meat and feed the pigs a balanced diet of high quality feed which is fully traceable and especially designed for outdoor production.  The result of this great care and attention to detail is Top Quality Meat which is used in our Sausages.  This specialisation means that we only use the best cuts of meat in their production.

They are members of the Assured British Meat Scheme, Deliciously Yorkshire and we are certified by the RSPCA Freedon Food Scheme.
